The business is experiencing significant growth and targeting 4x growth over next 5 years. People are at the heart the business and we are looking to add to our Finance team an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Financial Accountant.

The successful candidate will need to be a strong academic performer with experience in the Accounting function of a growing SME or a multinational organization. They will be a driven, high energy, customer service focused individual that can work well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The role requires the ability to problem solve, recommend solutions and exercise good business judgment. Significant opportunities for progression will be available to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Preparation of VAT and RTD filings
  • Assist in the timely preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy and supporting details are in place.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of revenue reporting and analysis to assist in decision making;
  • Financial modelling and preparation of customer performance/sales analysis;
  • Assist other team members with General ledger accounting including reviewing postings, period-end controls, and reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Ownership and Management of accounts receivable process
  • Preparation of working capital reports for CFO and Board.
  • Contacting clients in relation to their overdue accounts
  • Manage collections according to the company’s credit policy
  • Pro-active approach to ongoing process improvement and development to reflect changing and evolving needs.
  • Act as a business partners with key departments such as HR, IT and Operations.
  • Project Based roles as determined by CFO’s strategic initiatives
  • Ad hoc reporting as required.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualified with 0-2 years PQE.
  • Demonstrate leader ability to oversee and develop the finance team.
  • Data insights and high proficiency in excel is a distinct advantage.
  • NetSuite experience is an advantage
  • ‘Big 4’ experience or experience in a large PLC environment is desirable
  • Has ability to impact positively on those around them and ensure a positive working environment.
  • A team player who can work on their own initiative.
  • High level of personal ambition and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, ability to ensure tasks are finalized to strict deadlines.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better.
