Job Summary:

Relatecare are seeking to fill several positions to grow our dynamic team! We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, ‘can-do’ minded individuals with proven time management skills to provide a range of patient services for some of the best hospitals in the world.

Role Types available: Permanent Full Time (35+ hours/week) and Part Time (20-25 hours/week).

Please note that for Part-time positions that there is a requirement to work Full-time hours for up to 14 days until Training is completed.

Hours of operation: Monday to Sunday from 7am to 3am; most shifts take place between the hours of 11am – 11pm. However, we do have later shifts that run up to 3am.

Rate of pay starts: €10.70 per hour with scope to increase to €11.65 based on tenure and skillset. The rate of pay for hours worked after midnight and before 7am is €13.96 per hour.

Location: Ability to work from home right now and return to work at our Waterford or Tullamore site when covid restrictions have been lifted.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform non-clinical screening to ensure the patient is seen by the right physician at the right time
  • Review scheduled appointment information with patients and families, and provide appointment itineraries
  • Review assigned work queues and address any pending scheduling needs
  • Ensure all required information for pre-registering patients is captured and entered accurately
  • Calling discharged patients (non-clinical)
  • Following a specific call flow process
  • Verify and review patients and families’ insurance coverage and benefit eligibility
  • Investigate, resolve and document customer requests in a timely and efficient manner, and contact corresponding stakeholders as needed
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills in all interactions with patients, families, and physicians




  • Excellent customer service background
  • Ability to work shifts (8.5 or 10 hour shift a day during hours of operation)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to investigate and resolve queries
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Strong typing and IT skills
  • Meet the broadband and workspace requirements to allow work from home if required; a minimum of 20mbps download speed and 2mbps upload and the ability to contact to the internet modem using an ethernet cable.
