The Sunday Times Ireland Best Places to Work 2025 survey once again highlighted RelateCare’s exceptional commitment to employee welfare and workplace culture, noting in particular how RelateCare supports employees through regular check-ins, wellness weeks, and access to mental health support. The accolade demonstrates, for a second year running, how RelateCare’s employee-focused initiatives continue to set the standard for workplace excellence.
RelateCare provides consulting, administrative, and clinical support to healthcare organizations in Ireland, the UK and the US, working with some of North America’s largest healthcare systems. The 1,100-strong international workforce benefits from flexible working arrangements, including remote and hybrid options. Frequent virtual and in-person sports and social events help keep them feeling connected across all locations.
This year’s recognition is particularly significant given RelateCare’s outstanding performance in diversity and inclusion metrics, achieving a remarkable 96 per cent engagement score among ethnic minority employees who took part in the survey and an impressive 95 per cent score among LGBTQIA+ respondents, demonstrating RelateCare’s commitment to creating an inclusive workplace for all team members.
The Sunday Times, Best Places to Work survey, powered by employee experience specialist WorkL, found that organisations on the 2025 list achieved an average engagement score of 88 per cent, significantly higher than both Irish and global benchmarks. This year’s survey delved beneath the surface to understand how people feel about their jobs, measuring performance across six key areas:
- Reward / Recognition
- Information Sharing
- Empowerment
- Wellbeing
- Instilling Pride
- Job Satisfaction.
Supporting Employee Growth and Development
RelateCare’s comprehensive approach to employee development was a key factor in this recognition. The company provides extensive training programs from onboarding to leadership development, mentorship, and clear progression paths, giving employees the resources and support they need to grow within the organization.
RelateCare place a strong emphasis on professional development and workplace flexibility. Our staff are consistently well-equipped and supported with a regularly updated knowledge base, empowering them to perform their roles to the highest standard.”
About the Survey
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work survey utilizes 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, which was developed by behavioral scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics, and other independent experts to most accurately monitor employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort in the workplace.
To be successfully accredited as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work, organizations must achieve a minimum overall engagement score of 70%. This rigorous standard reflects the comprehensive nature of the assessment, which requires organizations to demonstrate excellence across multiple dimensions of workplace experience.
WorkL’s extensive research consistently shows the correlation between employee engagement and productivity. Higher scores translate to more complex work, more loyal employees, and consequently fewer sick days, lower staff turnover, and the ability to attract top talent from an increasingly competitive market.
